Ellerhusen (opinion) included it in his tympanum because he was one of the sculptors who worked on Goodhue's Rockefeller Chapel, also on the University of Chicago campus. I'd have to lookup the dates but I suspect that Goodhue was already dead when Ellerhusen included it. It was designed by architectural sculptor Ulric Henry Ellerhusen.
